New Exam determines personal risk of breast cancer
Examining individual breast tissue for characteristic structural traits may more accurately define a woman’s risk for developing breast cancer. On a recent release of the Journal of Clinical Oncology researchers announced that the more acini is present in a woman’s system – acini are the sacs that produce milk – and the larger her breast lobules are, the larger the chances that she will suffer from breast cancer.
